milk gallery’s latest exhibition, dennis stock photographs, opened tuesday night to rave reviews from a starstruck crowd. guests chatted, clinked glasses, and clamored over iconic images of james dean, marilyn monroe, and audrey hepburn. between air kisses and squeals of excitement, the likes of new york magazine’s sue bohlen, photographer isa brito, barry kieselstein-cord, chris reed, and artist marco santaniello made their way through the crowded gallery (which, for those of you who don’t know, is huge). in fact, the crowd inside the gallery was rivaled only by the gargantuan line of non-RSVP-ers outside, which practically stretched all the way to 10th avenue, eager to get out of the cold and into the (deceased) star-studded exhibition. for those of you whom were left out in the cold the other night, fear not, dennis stock photographs is on display at milk gallery (450 West 15th Street, between 9th & 10 avenues) until april 17th. this is an exhibition not to be missed!
